Amazon provides you a lot of data about your brand that's true,SQPS,ads reports, VoCs, top search terms....gazillion of them.
What it does not provide you is IN DEPTH analysis of your competitors,
which makes sense it's unethical a platform give you datapoints to BEAT the fck out of each other...lol
Well I lied, it gives you brand analytics, market basket analysis..BUT
I am not talking about the data given to every seller, that does not fckng give anyone any competitive edge.
I am talking about type of data to give you superpowers like precisely detecting camp base coordinates of all enemies during the war,or seeing the hands of opponents in poker...
In my opinion (I'm biased because about to show you what I coded) but this is what that data is:
Ranks on your keywords' SERP pages..(100,000s/millions of them daily)
Monitor all the organic & sponsored ranks of all Asins on each SERP page for your keywords daily.
Example of keywords to monitor:
i)All keywords in your SQPs
ii)Top search terms released by amz
iii)Sponsored product search term reports
As an example we monitor 100,000 top search terms released by Amazon (US) on 28th July 2024
Output >>1st SERP page ranks for each search term with 66million Asins in total.

Okay,I have the data what I do with it?
Tbh there are gazillion ways whoever reading up until here probably know better than me how and what to use this data for.. but here are ones i can think:
i)Detect a competitor going higher in organic ranks due to a change in their listing
ii)Start running ppc> as soon as you reach 1st position organically> stop bidding & reduce wasted ad budget.
iii)See which new long tailored keywords from search term reports organically you are behind competitors & optimize your ppc
iv)Detect a main image change on competitor Asins causing your CTR to drop.
v)Track competitors sponsored ranks >> know the keywords competitors are heavily bidding, to adjust your bids to either compete or/and find less competitive keywords that still drive traffic.
