Asgard x DeepSee Commerce.
I was a little hesitant at first, because at the time we were only scraping Amazon data for SaaS, and agencies weren't really on my radar.
But Matt Browne proved me that you don't need a big tech team or even to be a SaaS company to benefit from our data.
You can become the SaaS yourself
On the contrary, you can become the SaaS yourself by getting the data and serving your own sellers/brands.
This is the part that flipped my thinking. An agency doesn't have to go buy a rank tracker or a PPC tool off the shelf and pay per seat forever. They can take the raw data, wrap it in whatever their sellers actually need, and be the tool.
And now implementation is super easy
❶ I give the agency an API key
❷ The agency tells Claude / code to use this API key to scrape any data 24/7 and push it into their database
done.
Why this matters
You used to need a real engineering team to pull this off. Now you don't. Claude does the plumbing. You point it at the API key, tell it what to pull and how often, and it fills your database while you sleep.
The agency owns the data, owns the product layer, and owns the relationship with their sellers. No middle SaaS taking a cut per keyword. No waiting on a vendor's roadmap for the one feature your sellers keep asking for.
DeepSee proved you don't have to be technical or be a SaaS to win with this. You just need the data and the will to build on top of it.
In case you want to become the SaaS yourself:
